Spirit Fortresses(Found in The Mirror Realm)

Among the many dangers of the Mirror Realm are the Spirit Fortresses. On many maps they are marked with a greenish symbol to warn away travelers. These places take many forms, not just brooding keeps, but they all serve the same function.

Here the barriers between Mirhondas and Etheras are particularly weak. Here, the powers of spirit and death are stronger than normal, and the creatures that draw upon such forces are equally empowered. These locales are a gathering place for ghosts and other, more dangerous etherics. The rhokin who inhabit this realm tend to steer clear of the these places, but the inhabitants often roam outward, hungry for fresh victims. Even seasoned adventurers should be wary of the undead that infect these places.
